Project Case Study - Wythall Tennis Club
Our team have recently installed a new floodlighting solution for JHP Electrical competition winners!
This was such a great project to be able to complete, to provide a top of the range LTA standard tennis court solution for FREE will never be forgotten. It has given the club a boost of quality on one of their courts and has been widely appreciated by the all the members of the club.
Achievements and services provided:
- JHP installed 4 Lumosa fittings to existing columns adjusting/angling to suit the provided design.
- Existing brackets were adjusted to fit the new style of floodlights.
- Lumosa touch was installed on site to give the club the option to use at a later date.
- Once the install was complete Electrical testing was complete in accordance to BS 7671:2018 and a NICEIC digital minor works certificate was provided for all relevant works.
- Working in collaboration with Lumosa Lighting.

"First and foremost I must congratulate your installation team. Bailey and Lucy were punctual on both days and very professional throughout their time on site. Bailey encountered a number of issues as the lights being dismantled were over 30 years old. The only solution was to grind original brackets off to solve the issue. Rubber mats were in place so the cherry picker wheels were never directly in contact with court surface. The perimeter fence was pulled away from the upright posts so the cherry picker could gain access to the courts and the fence returned to original state. I and other members are impressed with the newly installed lights. The immediate improvement is the difference in glare and ball visibility. It is even more noticeable as the adjacent court has not yet been converted to LED."

If any tennis club or sports outlet wishes to see these LED lights in operation, Wythall LTC are willing to accommodate a visit from any organisation. Normally Saturday and Sunday evenings are free. For a tennis club, 4 players could come and play a few sets, to see glare and ball visibility first hand.
